Sketchbooks with Mixed Media Techniques.
10 week Course 10.00am-12.30pm
Autumn Term starts Wednesday 23 Sept.
This 10 week course will guide you through creating a sketchbook with mixed media techniques to fill it up.
Learn to use a variety of layered mixed media materials and experiment with mark making using stencilling, block and mono printing and paper lithography. Small lino print motifs will be added to these surfaces.
Explore these processes in a personalised A5 sketchbook.
Learn to make books to use to draw, write and keep as examples of your creativity.

10 week courses

Choose either the afternoon class 1.pm-4pm or the evening class, 6.30-9pm
There are numerous ways to make and print collagraph plates. The 10-week printmaking course will deal with a different aspect of collagraph plate making each term. You will explore the technique in detail the first half of the term, allowing for further personal exploration for the second half.
A variety of inking techniques will be covered, and a few surprises will be thrown in.
This course is suitable for those new to printmaking and artists wanting to extend their practice.
