Mixed Media Sketchbook Techniques.
Summer term starts Wednesday 20 September
10 week Sketchbook Course
This 10 week course will guide you through the development of a sketch book.
Learn to use a variety of layered mixed media techniques. Experiment with mark making using acrylic paint, ink, bleach and hand made tools. Explore the use of gum arabic transfer printing. Play with stamps and embossing powders as a creative tool. Rip, stick and manipulate.
Over 10 weeks you will fill up a sketch book, supplied as part of the workshop and explore your creativity. Learn how to beat that blank page syndrome that strikes us down as soon as we open a new sketch book.
10am -12.30pm. £200 per 10 wks, includes most materials.
January 2024 starts 10 January.

Wednesday Printmaking Classes
Summer term starts 20 September
10 week Printmaking Course
The 10 week term will be exploring making and printing basic collagraph plates made using fillers and textures.
During the 10 week course 2 plate making processes will be explored and a variety of inking techniques including viscosity inking will be covered.
This course is suitable for those new to printmaking and printmakers looking to develop their techniques.
Afternoon class-1.30pm- 4pm. £200 per 10 wks, includes all materials.
Evening class.-.6.30pm- 9pm..£200 per 10 wks, includes all materials.
January 2024 starts 10 January.
