Using nets and velvets create your very own pantomime fairy for Christmas.
Learn how to construct these special fairys with simple wirework and stitch techniques. Give them articulated arms to hold their wands and faces full of character.
Create dream ballroom frocks that Strictly Come Dancing would be proud of.
But most of all have a relaxing day making an heirloom decoration that can be enjoyed year after year just before the mayhem of the festive season kicks in!

What you need to bring along with you and / or prepare in advance
Sewing scissors.
Anything that you would like to personalise and embellish your fairy with such as, broken jewellery, vintage paper ephemera, paper or textile imagery, assorted scraps of favourite fabrics (small scale).
Vintage haberdashery i.e. hooks and eyes, tape measures and buttons
How the day will look
A short introductory talk with basic first steps and inspiration.
Demonstration of techniques.
Lunch time – a group talk to review progress.
Close – a review of makes.
