SKETCHBOOK MASTER CLASS

This 3 day workshop will guide you through the development of a sketch book with Sue Brown.

Learn to use a variety of layered mixed media techniques. Experiment with mark making using acrylic paint, ink, bleach and hand made tools. Explore the use of paper lithography (gum arabic transfer printing). Play with stamps and embossing powders as a creative tool. Rip, stick and manipulate.
Over 3 days you will fill up a sketch book, supplied as part of the workshop and explore your creativity. Learn how to beat that blank page syndrome that strikes us down as soon as we open a new sketch book. Learn how I develop my sketch book pages. This workshop will study mixed media techniques in further depth than the 2 day workshops held earlier in the year. Spend 3 days exploring personal imagery with light technical support.

 

 

10am - 4pm each day
Cost: £300 to include a sketch book, 21 x 10cm and most materials.

Places are not considered booked without the full course fee.

The fee is non-refundable or transferable. 

Most materials will be included.

Please bring a pack lunch, a collection of black and white photocopies for the gum arabic

transfer and any materials you want to explore.
